Lydia Bell

Lydia found Pilates as a teenager after learning she had severe and progressing scoliosis. She credits her continued Pilates (and yoga) practice for her stronger, straighter spine and drastically reduced chronic pain. She believes passionately in the benefits of the workout, and has so much fun doing it. Teaching at District Pilates, where she joined in 2017 after taking classes with Bailey and getting certified through Balanced Body, was a natural and exciting next step. Lydia’s style is warm and encouraging, but quite challenging! She loves music and brings an eclectic playlist to each class. Teaching and helping her students is the best part of her day.
