Katherine has been Peak Pilates certified since 2015. She first started practicing Pilates on the reformer shortly after being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that wrecked her back and joints and made high impact exercise challenging. Consistent practice helped her regain her strength and flexibility. In 2013, she moved to Washington from New York City and started practicing under the careful watch of Bailey Rizer. Since Pilates helped Katherine transform her health, she's especially excited to work with beginner clients to discover what it can do for them. When not in the studio, she's normally writing on U.S. foreign policy and media issues or planning her next trip home to California.
